The candidate will produce a wide range of materials for a broad spectrum of clients representing many different industry segments. This position requires a candidate who is a quick study, understands how to listen carefully and ask intelligent fact gathering questions. Primary duties will be as a graphic deisgner but you will also need to wear many other hats as the firm requires. You can lead by example and can demonstrate a strong work ethic.
Job responsibilites will include, but not be limited to the folllowing:
Collaborate and contribute with the creative team
Ability to pick up and run with any number of jobs or tasks that need attention at any given time
Excellent communication skills, capable of talking ideas and concepts through with a customer
Develop strong spot-on ideation and capable of leveraging pursuasive selling techniques in order to move your idea forward
Must lead by example in all areas
Will demonstrate strong work ethics
Will be responsible for all work coming out of the studio
Willl oversee other desginers and help coordinate efforts
Will manage workflow, opening and closing jobs and submitting audited billiing documentation
Wear many hats
Create ongoing self promotion for the firm
Create and maintain organized files
The ideal candidate will have:
Full working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite products.
Full knowledge of Microsoft products, specifically, Word, Power Point and Excel
Can work independently without heavy supervision creating and producing a wide array of branding and marketing materials, from concept to print
Print production, including coordinating and gathering specs and outputting jobs for press
Ability to create a wide range of concepts for a diverse group of clients
Ability to work with the creativeTeam to meet deadlines and manage project load.
Additionally, the candidate will have a working knowledge of:
Current social media apps (FB, LI, Instagram, Pinterest, etc.)
Production process for digital media (cuts, style guides, colorspace, file compression, layer comps, smart objects, exporting, batch processing, etc.)
Web specifications, wireframes and site planning
SEO strategic planning, implementation and testing is a pluss
Wordpress and Ecommerce experience knowledge is a plus
Animation software, like After Effects, is preferred
Minimum: Bachelor of Art in Graphic Design
Ongoing educational experiences a plus
