Job Description

The Graphic Designer will design and maintain forms and marketing materials needed for existing and new programs. This position will also coordinate and assist with the design activities of a product or business line, which may include advertising, direct mailing, printing, special events and trade shows. They will interact with sales, product development and customer service departments to ensure that the collateral, forms and other communications reflect brand of the company accurately and are compliant with appropriate state and insurance carrier requirements.


Job Responsibilities

  • Design and develop all necessary materials needed for a program, which includes printed field issue forms, POS material, website material, and online material. Prepare forms for online use.
  • Maintain forms for compliance with current state regulations and insurance carrier language requirements. Upkeep necessary reference materials in order to appropriately and effectively maintain forms.
  • Assists in the development of client and internal presentations, RFPs and other documents that support the sales and account management teams.
  • Design and production of marketing collateral. Duties include maintaining print vendor relationships, soliciting quotes and estimates, and print inventory. Serves as a liaison between creative staff and print vendors; and ensures customer satisfaction, quality control and timely delivery of final products. Should be able to provide technical input and recommendations for reducing costs and improving quality.

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or general equivalency diploma (GED)
  • College degree or some college preferred
  • Proficient in the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign CC, Photoshop CC, Illustrator CC and Acrobat)
  • At least 2 years graphic design experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills, problem solving and multi-tasking abilities
  • Effective project management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines
  • Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong knowledge of text copy layout etiquette
  • Solid knowledge of printing processes
