About Me
Hello everyone!
I am a Marine Corps photographer turned veteran, after nine years of faithful service. I have an extensive illustration background alongside the photography and Photoshop skills I picked up while serving. Photoshop is fun, and all, but I prefer to work by hand (and then bring it into PS for cleanup, if necessary).
Initially, after leaving the Corps, I had this idea that the business world was for me, and subsequently pursued that type of degree. It didn't last long, however, as I felt compelled to return to my "roots", so I switched to a fine art graphic design degree at TCU.
Also, I have two fur-babies (cats), named Binx and Eddie. Sounds like a TV show, eh?

Current font fetish
Currently? That's a difficult question to answer, as there are so many beautiful fonts out there... but if I had to narrow it down to a style, I'm partial to semi script-like ones. I also LOVE hand written fonts, because that's what I like to do ^_^;
I'm still learning the wonders of typography, so this may be updated as I move along in my degree program!
Dream Project
My current dream is to be the creative director, or lead concept artist, for a DreamWorks movie... *le sigh*

I often tried to encourage dialogue in my drawing class, but that wound up backfiring on me, in a silly way. My teacher took points off of my final grade, because I gave "too much" constructive dialogue during class art reviews. Seriously? Hardly anyone else would speak up!!!
