The DSVC’s version of the “Teacher of the Year” award, the Golden Apple is presented annually to the educator whose understanding of the visual communications professions, superior curriculum, and exemplary mentoring are evident in the collective quality of the work submitted by his or her students that year at the National Student Show and Conference.
