Interactive Art Director

Ignite Partnership is looking for a "Next Level" Art Director/Designer with big picture, conceptual skills and 2-3 years of experience to back it up. As a Digital Art Director/Designer, you have to know not only how to work within brand guidelines, but how to make them stretch without breaking them. You get responsive design and that a great idea not only has to look good, it has to work even better, enter good UX. You'll work in digital, mobile, video, experiential, social (and occasionally print), with a team of kickass movers and shakers, turning creative strategies into ideas that grab you by the eyeholes and won't let go. Attend creative sessions for project kickoffs.
Manage multiple projects, from concept through completion.
Understand, contribute to, and utilize scripts for video production.
Contribute and execute art direction for video production and web design.
Execute the design and creation of multiple concepts for each project.
Consistently bring new ideas and thoughts to the table.
Provide quality control over concepts and projects.
Apply brand systems, typography, photography, color and other elements appropriately to create innovative digital solutions that meet user and client needs.
Extend existing visual systems/brand guidelines across all media with moderate design changes or interpretation.
Embrace web standards and principles and speak intelligently about them.
Apply leading-edge creative design in concert with web standards and principles.
Visualize, design and conceptualize effective interaction design.
Support all other integrated initiatives led by the Digital Creative Director and/or Chief Creative Officer.
Collaborate with strategy, media, account and business-development teams to create and develop new business opportunities.
Utilize critical thinking skills as a problem solver.
Must possess a thorough understanding of interactive communications and delivery systems, processes and user interface design as well as industry best practice.
Knowledge of layouts, graphic fundamentals, typography, limitations of video, web and other various media communicate with web developers and other outside vendors with an understanding of their discipline.
A strong working knowledge of experience design, web design, brand development, interactive commerce and creative process.
Must know how to work cohesively with web, print, and video as well as other media for integrated campaigns.
Ability to execute projects from concept to completion.
Experience with industry standard software such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign. After Effects, Premier Final Cut Pro is a nice to have.
Working knowledge of current and forward-moving web development and site-building HTML, HTML5, CSS, CSS3, PHP JQuery and be able to communicate with vendors using these languages.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
1+ years of industry/agency experience
Bachelor Degree with strong design portfolio that reflects a deep understanding of web interactive design.
