Seeking a mature, well rounded creative thinker and graphic designer, to join a small in-house creative/marketing department. This role will report to the Vice President of Marketing, and will collaborate with the Marketing and other Creative team members to execute branding and marketing strategies across all company channels and brands. Must be comfortable working in a small, fast-paced team environment, be a “jack of all trades” within design areas, and able to take ownership of projects and work independently. The ideal candidate is a multi-faceted creative who is also a solution-oriented problem solver and willing to have a hand in all aspects of the company’s marketing and branding strategies. Strong skills in Adobe Photoshop is a must. History of creating and building brands also a must. Experience concepting creative campaigns and familiarity with the creative process for multi-faceted, integrated campaigns highly desired. Comfortable designing for both digital and print formats also highly desired. Ability to deliver projects from concept through production necessary. Prioritizing and time management skills are key.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Creative Design – Branding/Marketing (Digital and Print)
Project Management - Ensure that the progress of all creative projects are tracked / documented so that, if necessary, other members of the team can take them over if the need arises (experience with Asana even better)
Production Coordination - Coordinate with print/production to ensure successful execution of all brand and marketing collateral in terms of design, color-matching, production file preparation, proofing, etc.
Photography/Photo Editing - Shoot product and staged lifestyle photography using in-house studio equipment, and create virtual product and lifestyle images upon request including resizing for specific customer needs, web images, internal marketing collateral; Maintain catalog of product images on art server to required standards
Product Strategy - Develop deep knowledge and expertise in ThermoServ’s product strategy across brands/divisions, including full lines of products, channels, manufacturing/production capabilities and design collections
Product Design - Assist in planning and development of annual design collections for drinkware and dinnerware lines
Continuous Learning - Investigate new and emerging technologies, design solutions and tools, and make these known (where appropriate) to the Marketing and Creative teams
