ARCHITECTURE COLLATERAL DESIGN GRAPHIC DESIGN SOCIAL MEDIA

Job Description

The Graphic Designer’s role is to support the planning, creation, development, maintenance, and delivery of consistently branded presentations, print collateral, and other marketing content. This includes ensuring that the layout, positioning, navigation, and look and feel of content are consistent across and throughout the organization with guidance from the marketing design team leader.  Although the Graphic Designer will play an increasing role in the design process over time, the primary function of the role is to produce tailored presentations within pre-designed templates in Adobe Creative Suite.

Work samples should demonstrate a thorough understanding of branding, design, typography and photography.

This is a regular full-time position that can be located at any of our major offices in Austin, Dallas, Fort Worth or Houston.

Job Responsibilities

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Produce consistent branded presentation collateral, applying established branding and design guidelines and/or templates
• Participate in designing of printed promotional materials including signage, brochures, and flyers
• Edit digital images and graphics in preparation for final production and deployment efforts
• Ensure brand consistency across all assets by promoting uniform fonts, formatting, icons, images, and layout
• Accept creative direction and constructive feedback from senior staff
• Handle multiple projects at once and prioritize them appropriately to meet deadlines
• Maintain a positive attitude and a sense of humor (a dash of cynicism and sarcasm isn’t bad, either)

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in communication design or graphic design, strategic communications, or similar visual design-related program.
  • At least six months professional experience working as a graphic designer (internship experience counts)
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite, especially InDesign, is a must.
