The Richards Group’s design group is seeking a designer with three to eight years of brand identity experience and an emphasis on user interface/digital design. This role reports directly to the design group head and will collaborate with a growing team of designers and be instrumental in expanding our design capability.
As part of this role, you will be tasked with creating design mock-ups and prototypes for websites and other digital media. Having a clear understanding of responsive design and web accessibility standards is imperative. Day-to-day, you will work with a cross-functional team of brand managers and developers to design and implement digital content, websites, and experiences. This will include ideation, design, quality control, consultation, and collaboration with user experience experts and other facets of the agency. The role will include design for traditional media, so a portfolio showing a breadth of experience in both traditional and digital media – with strong brand identity work and typography skills – will be considered a plus.
Ideal candidates will maintain a high design standard, confident in creating conceptual and elegant design solutions across a variety of media; have a desire to stay on top of emerging technologies, best practices, and user interface trends; and have great people skills.
