About Me

I am an “experienced” designer. I work with virtually anything visual. My primary goal on every project is to capture and engage attention. I love what I do, and I think it shows in my work. My skill levels on the core Adobe products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Flash and Acrobat) are well developed, even expert level in some. I have always been involved in development of new products, concepts, and ways of breaking the visual rulebook. An example: I am part of a small team of designers in the newspaper industry that helped develop Integrated Ads. You know, those ads without borders? Breaking the rules!
I work primarily on projects with clear-cut creative briefs. But not every client knows what they don't know, so I help them through the discovery process. I work on anything from campaigns to one-offs. My client list has fortune 100s and single owner start-ups. From Frito-lay, WebMD, Pepsico, Texas Instruments, American Airlines, to branding for home based businesses.
I have experience in photo editing and compositing, digital illustration, integrated ads, coop advertising, branding, grid layout, typography, color theory, website wire frame design, social media, native advertising, user interface, sponsored content, PFP (Pay For Performance), direct mail, collateral, and even conceptual writing.
I am always on the lookout for freelance or even part-time, to supplement my income and to feed my need to create.
