About Me

Marketing is an art, and I am an artist. Just like a painter uses different mediums to to create a painting or a musician uses different instruments to create a song, a marketer must possess superb skills and knowledge in order to attract interest and captivate consumers. Marketing is such a captivating profession because it is an art in itself. It has a plethora of facets that are meant to be explored and mastered. I am a marketing professional that is driven by creativity and the constant need to refine and develop my skills.

I graduated from Jacksonville State University with Summa Cum Laude honors in August 2018. Right before graduating, I began my internship at The Masquerade in Atlanta. I had the privilege of being able to manage the digital promotions for the music venue via the venue's social media accounts. During this time, I also managed the social media accounts for a local Atlanta band called Atlus. After spending a year in music promotions and attending more concerts than I ever dreamed of, I began my Consumer Marketing Internship at Talladega Superspeedway. What do I do here? A little bit of everything if i'm being honest. I've conducted market research, created radio liners, updated contact lists, created banner ads, edited the Talladega Superspeedway website, edited contents on the mobile app, and anything else in order to help with the promotions of the spring race.

Even when I'm home, i'm constantly refining my skills through videos and courses. I believe that developing your skills outside of work is extremely important to your own success.
