I Am Second is seeking to establish a contract relationship with an experienced and innovative digital designer to manage its website, digital marketing and online merchandising activities. Tailored to the needs of the week, the role involves regularly updating content, maintaining back-end archives and designing pages and page elements as needed.
Participate in the ideation process, converting ideas to designs, constructing layouts, building the web assets/pages and testing functionality prior to going live.
Update and maintain all content source files of all websites/digital activities. Assist outside agency with website enhancements, including search engine optimization through content and meta tags.
Help manage the upload and integration of digital web graphics, photos, landing pages, written content, and web tools across several websites (I Am Second, iamsecondstore.com, Loud Krazy Love).
Collaborate with team on and/or design landing pages, emails, digital social tiles, and digital advertising campaigns/ads.
Acts as a Brand guardian, producing work in accordance with the Brand guidelines and in maintaining consistency across all sites.
Must have proficiency working with Wordpress sites.
Experience with Hubspot is preferred.
Knowledge of the full Adobe Suite of design products (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketch, Figma) is required. Experience with HTML, CSS a plus.
Must possess artistic and creative abilities as well as strong verbal and written communication skills.
Must be able to work on multiple projects at the same time and deliver on Brand, on time and meet the highest quality standards.
Be a digital native, have at least 4 years’ experience and be able to handle designing a wide variety of projects including: email marketing, social media, web design, etc.
Have a passionate interest and understanding of the role of Christian faith in culture.
Works well in a team as well as independently, with the ability to deal diplomatically with all kinds of people and teams across different countries and cultures.
