Job Description

Responsible for the layout, design and production activities to produce high-quality presentations, proposals, and other materials needed to support business development and brokerage activities. Requires working knowledge of the most current Adobe Cloud applications and Microsoft Office. Must have the ability to create materials for multiple channels including print and digital.


Job Responsibilities

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Generates proposals, presentations, brochures, advertising, postcards and any other creative collateral material that adheres to corporate brand standards whether for print or Internet.
  • Develops customized materials for select high-profile projects and clients.
  • Confers with marketing managers as well as internal clients to discuss and determine a creative direction for collateral pieces based on the requirements given for the task.
  • May provide estimates on print and web marketing material sourced from outside vendors.
  • Works on additional special marketing projects.
  • Other duties may be assigned.

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

No formal supervisory responsibilities in this position. May provide informal assistance such as technical guidance and/or training to coworkers. May coordinate and assign tasks to coworkers within a work unit and/or project. Presents new ideas to members of the team.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in graphic design or related field preferred with a minimum of 2 to 5 years of related experience and/or training. PORTFOLIO REQUIRED.

COMMUNICATION SKILLS

  • Strong visual storytelling skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to effectively present information to internal clients at various levels.
  • Strong organizational and analytical skills.

REASONING ABILITY

  • Ability to comprehend, analyze and interpret documents.
  • Ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills to different situations

OTHER SKILLS and/or ABILITIES

  • Strong skills in Adobe Creative Cloud applications including Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign. Ability to create animated and/or interactive InDesign documents required.
  • Familiarity with Adobe Dreamweaver/HTML. Intermediate skills with web design.
  • Experience with Google Earth and knowledge of KML a plus.
  • Background and understanding of business development marketing a plus.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office suite.
  • Comfort working directly with internal clients.
  • Self-starter with a service-oriented, can-do attitude.
  • Basic project management skills.
