Job Description

Part-time (open to full-time) summer intern (open to paid opportunity) needed for marketing assistance with Texas Trees Foundation. Reports to Senior Manager of Communications and Marketing. Learn about trees, urban forestry, urban heat island effects, and general ecological concepts helping with tasks including social media posts with light video editing, website story uploading, assisting both with the writing and upload to Wordpress site. A slam dunk opportunity for anyone interested in forestry, conservation, and whom has a love for trees.


Job Responsibilities

  • Social media assistance including posts + slight editing (utilizing phone-based apps, for the most part)
  • Newsletter content assistance, i.e. arborist tips, tree trivia, small articles
  • Photography using mobile device primarily
  • Website content assistance

Job Qualifications

Working knowledge of Adobe products (Photoshop, InDesign) appreciated, but not required. Ideal for a communications/marketing/design student interested in forestry.
