Position: UI/UX Designer (3+ years of experience required)

What You’ll Do:

As a UI/UX Designer at Tegan, you’ll be at the forefront of designing intuitive, user-friendly interfaces that elevate brands and enhance user experiences. You’ll combine creativity with a strategic mindset to craft engaging, accessible, and responsive digital products. This is your opportunity to shape how people interact with our clients’ brands, creating solutions that are not only visually appealing but also highly functional and user-driven.

 


Job Responsibilities

Creating Impactful Digital Experiences:

  • Lead the design of user interfaces and experiences for web, mobile, and digital platforms.
  • Develop wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity designs that align with strategic goals.
  • Conduct user research and testing to inform design decisions and optimize the user journey.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging tools in UI/UX design.

Collaborating for Success:

  • Work closely with clients, understanding their business objectives and translating them into effective design solutions.
  • Collaborate with designers, developers, and strategists to bring projects to life from concept to launch.
  • The ability to contribute to branding and graphic design projects as needed.
  • Foster strong client relationships by presenting your work confidently and incorporating feedback with clarity and purpose.

Owning Your Craft:

  • Present and defend design decisions, always tying them back to user experience and project goals.
  • Lead design workshops and client meetings to shape the visual direction and functionality of projects.
  • Continuously refine and iterate on designs based on user feedback and data-driven insights.

Being a Team Player:

  • Engage in open, constructive feedback loops with clients and team members to ensure projects are always moving forward.
  • The ability to work collaboratively with designers and team members to support branding and graphic design projects as needed.
  • Contribute to the growth of Tegan’s culture and design processes, always pushing creative boundaries.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A strong portfolio showcasing your ability to design user-centric websites, apps, and digital experiences across various platforms.
  • A deep understanding of UI/UX design principles, including usability, accessibility, and responsive design.
  • Experience in conducting user research and translating insights into actionable design solutions.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving, always ready to tackle challenges and deliver creative solutions.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the confidence to lead client conversations around user experience and design strategy.

Tools You’ll Master:

  • Figma
  • Adobe Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
  • Prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Hotjar, Axure)

Job Qualifications

This role offers a flexible hybrid work environment. Must be located in the DFW area.
