As a Mid-Level Designer at Matchbox, you are more than a maker. You are a thinker, a collaborator, and a leader. You will guide projects from concept through execution, mentor emerging designers, and collaborate with Creative Directors, Strategists and Copywriters. The designer is the heart of Matchbox and is diligent in applying both creativity and strategic thought to everything they touch. You will juggle multiple accounts, present directly to clients, and bring a fresh perspective to every assignment.

We are a small studio, which means you will not be lost in layers of process. You will work directly with account managers, creative directors, and clients. Location

We are based in Deep Ellum, Dallas. We welcome local candidates and will also consider strong remote candidates who meet the qualifications.

• Concept, design, and production of creative work across print, digital, and experiential
• Present ideas and solutions to clients with confidence and clarity
• Work on multiple projects while keeping an eye on scope, budgets, and timelines
• Build and maintain brand systems that stand up and stand out
• Prepare and oversee production including print specs, paper selection, pre press, and press checks
• Keep us on top of design trends, tools, and new creative ways to make brands pop

• Two or more years of experience in a creative agency or studio environment
• A portfolio that proves you can concept big ideas and deliver sharp, polished design across mediums
• Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite including Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, and Figma with bonus points for After Effects or motion skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills and the ability to thrive in the juggle
• A positive and collaborative spirit with a sense of humor to match
