HCK2 Marketing + Communications is an integrated marketing and communications agency in Addison, TX, and we're growing! We're looking for a Graphic Designer/Art Director who can come up with the big idea and then carry it all the way to a polished final piece across print, digital, and motion. What We're Looking For
If you're a creative jack-of-all-trades, this role is for you! We're seeking a versatile creative who is equally skilled at developing concepts and executing final deliverables. This role spans web design, video, print production, and motion graphics, so you'll need to shift easily between disciplines as each project requires. Above all, we value someone who takes pride in producing high-quality work, meeting deadlines, and collaborating effectively with the team.

The Day to Day
Your days will be split between original concepting and production work. Here's what that looks like:

• Developing fresh creative for a wide range of clients, including websites, visual identity systems, digital ads, video, and more.
• Aligning your work to each client’s look and voice.
• Producing motion graphics and edited video for social content, brand launches, and other projects.
• Designing websites and handing off clean, well-organized files to our developers.
• Building print and digital files that are accurate, on brand, and delivered on schedule.
• Presenting your concepts to clients and teammates with confidence, explaining your reasoning, and staying open to feedback.
• Partnering with our account, PR, marketing, and development teams so every project stays on message and on track.
• Sourcing stock photography that fits each brand, then retouching, color correcting, and compositing in Photoshop to get images ready for everything from social to large-format print.
• Helping shape the visual identities of our clients as well as HCK2 itself.

What You Should Have

• 3+ years of professional design experience, including motion graphics and video work.
• Advanced skills in Figma, Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Working knowledge of After Effects and Premiere Pro.
• Working knowledge of UI/UX principles and responsive design for web and mobile.
• A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• A portfolio that shows standout design, creative thinking, and range across digital, print, and motion.
• Strong communication and presentation skills. You can explain the "why" behind your design choices to anyone, creative background or not.
• The ability to manage multiple projects, set smart priorities, and hit deadlines without cutting corners.
• A sharp eye for detail and real curiosity about where the industry is heading.
• A collaborative spirit. You bring good energy to the team, and your first question is always "What's the best outcome for the client?"
• The ability to leverage AI tools for optimizing efficiency, but not as a replacement for original creative work
• A growth mindset
