For Justin, image-making is more than technical knowledge and access to high-level subjects: it is finding ways to tell the story of what is in front of him with intention and innovation.
From vibrant portraiture of public figures to ranchers on horseback, Justin captures the lively and authentic essence of his subjects in a way that is visually and narratively captivating. His work entrances and pulls viewers more into the story that he crafts in his images. This is most often done through his intentional use of lighting and composition — from casting multiple colors on his subjects with gels or having them pose in environments that enhance and bring more charm to their persona.
