Saad is a designer, animator and illustrator of Pakistani and Sri Lankan descent currently living in New York. After working for the likes of Pixar, Sagmeister & Walsh and the Google Creative Lab, he recently established Moosajee, a Brooklyn based studio focusing on the integration of design and animation. His studio practice aims to use imagery and movement to tell stories, provoke conversations and imagine alternative realities.
Outside of the studio, he is an adjunct faculty member at the School of Visual Arts and the Rhode Island School of Design. Saad is an enthusiast of South Asian cuisine, and believes that a surprising amount of problems can be solved with a proper helping of rice and curry.
Saad has worked with the likes Dell, HTC, Electronic Arts, FITC, The Islamic Arts Festival, and Nike. His work has received features from the likes of Juxtapoz, Hypebeast, and IdN. Saad has also authored written tutorials for Tuts+, Computer Arts Magazine, and Maxon Cineversity.
