I Am Second, an online media initiative, and its parent organization, e3 Partners Ministry, seek a skilled Social Media Specialist to amplify their digital marketing efforts and expand the reach of their inspirational media content and mission messaging.
The Social Media Specialist is a key role that helps e3 Partners achieve objectives in awareness, engagement and execution of its worldwide initiatives. Working at the Plano, TX headquarters, the Specialist is responsible for turning organizational and brand strategy into tactics/content that is disseminated internationally across multiple social media platforms and brands.
As a Social Media Specialist, you will play a vital role in translating the organization's overarching strategy and brand positioning into compelling content and effective tactics for global implementation across various social and digital platforms.
Working collaboratively with the in-house creative and marketing teams, the Specialist provides critical creative direction, produces content deliverables, maintains a frequent and consistent posting schedule, and continually makes adjustments to the plan to improve social media performance.
The Specialist will spend a majority of their time producing social media deliverables for the I Am Second initiative, which heavily utilizes digital content marketing on multiple platforms. In addition, the Specialist will also help grow e3’s Made to Multiply mobilization campaign, along with coordinating the e3 organizational social media accounts.

The bulk of the responsibilities fall in the following areas:
Research & Optimization (15%)
Researching trending topics within a variety of industries and staying updated on communication best practices, trends and compliance
Optimizing new and current content on social channels and adhering to algorithm changes and media guidelines
Ability to use and/or learn digital research tools to identify search trends
Learn to analyze content opportunity and performance
Provide real-time updates on post/campaign performance as needed during key launches
Provide quarterly reports and updates via deck creation
Tactical strategy (20%)
Maintaining overall social media strategies for IAS/e3 social media, tailoring to each platform for efficiency
Discuss social media strategies with IAS brand leadership team
Use digital marketing analytics and metrics to inform social media content strategies and content creation
Contribute innovative original content ideas and test new social opportunities with mobile and social-first mindset
Participate in any necessary meetings/check-ins
Execution (65%)
Partnering with the creative, content, editorial, digital and marketing teams for any social media deliverables to produce quality assets
Provide social media content creation (organic & paid) across all channels and posting (FB, IG, LI, others).
Collaborate with Content Director on planning the Asana social media calendar, overseeing planning and execution of the work of any social media platform managers
Collaborate with the Digital Media Strategist to execute the assets, calendaring and scheduling in Sprout Social
Build and maintain strong relationships with each social platform and tools representatives
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Journalism, Communications or Marketing
At least 3 years of industry experience, preferably in social media, marketing and/or digital media
Strong organizational skills and mobile social-first thinking
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly organized and detail oriented with ability to juggle multiple projects and address priorities and needs
Ability to prioritize projects and collaborate with other team members is a must
Full competency of social media platforms: Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter, Pinterest, Snapchat etc.
