Role Summary:
The Creative Producer reports to the Creative Director and will play a critical role in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and delivery of creative projects such as brand collateral, website design/development, and print material. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of marketing strategies and tactics. The Creative Producer will develop and execute project plans, interface with clients on behalf of the creative team, coordinate with internal and external teams, and report on key analytics at different project stages.
General Roles & Responsibilities:
Keep project schedules on track
Identify and proactively resolve issues before they affect deliverable timelines or budgets
Manage scope creep and budgets
Successfully deliver projects on time and within budget, ensuring all requirements are achieved
Communicate with the team and ensure all members are on board with delegated tasks
Communicate change orders with the sales and account team
Maintain a broad view of daily, weekly, and monthly bandwidth, so that workflow and individual workloads are managed
Prioritize workload, while remaining accountable daily to multiple project leads
Website Production Specific Roles & Responsibilities:
Develop detailed project plans and proactively monitor progress
Gather functional requirements and record them in a formal feature requirements document
Work with the internal team, account managers, and clients to collect and store content and assets
Coordinate outside vendors/developers to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
Print Collateral Production Specific Roles & Responsibilities:
Work with the internal team, account managers, and clients to gather content and assets
Oversee execution of print collateral with the design team
Work with internal team, account managers, and clients on print specs, estimates, and budget approvals
Coordinate outside vendors to ensure projects stay on schedule and within budget
Requirements
2-4 years of experience in project management at a creative agency or in-house design team with an in-depth understanding of marketing communication principles, strategies, and tactics.
Proficient in project management software (e.g., Asana, Basecamp, Teamwork)
Comfortable in an agile work environment and can prioritize and multitask between multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.
Attention to detail and strong organizational/project management skills under pressure, with support from your team.
Collaborative, creative, and curious approach to working with teammates and telling stories.
Exceptional organizational and time management abilities.
Problem-solving mindset and a proactive approach to challenges.
PMP, Scrum Master, or similar project management certification is a plus.
Compensation between $40k - $50k depending on experience
