Job Description

This mid-level position is for someone with a wide range of creative skills in traditional and digital design. We’re looking for talent that can help bring creative direction to life in a variety of ways – from client decks to digital ads, web design, brand identity, campaign design, to email, social and beyond. This is position will be exposed to and responsible for several client projects. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and is able to multitask on several projects to see them to completion.

This is a mid-level position for someone with 5+ years of agency experience.

Job Responsibilities

The Designer works collaboratively with the team and supports with ongoing creative needs both internally and externally. They should be well-versed in design communication and possess strong conceptual skills. Awareness of current trends in design is a must. You will be responsible for creating work in print, digital and video (if experienced) in collaboration with the design team. As a member of our design team we will count on you to have impeccable typography, clean designs, and always bringing us something new and fresh.

  • Work in a collaborative team environment and help create an inviting and easily accessible creative environment

  • Proven ability to concept and generate original creative ideas for an array of brands and nonprofits 

  • Work with account and digital teams to define creative needs, manage client expectations, budgets, and project parameters to ensure accurate execution

  • Ensure adherence to creative briefs, budgeted time, and deadlines

  • Produce mock-ups, storyboards, and presentations to convey ideas to the client

  • Multi-task on several projects to see them to completion while taking responsibility for art-related quality of the project

Job Qualifications

  • Completed a degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Art Direction or other related principles 
  • 5+ years of design experience (agency experience preferred)

  • A portfolio with solid experience creating designs optimized for both print and digital spaces

  • Excellent Adobe Creative Suite skills such as Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; In-depth knowledge of Sketch, InVision, and Microsoft Office (specifically PowerPoint); Experience with Adobe XD and After Effects is a plus

  • Strong understanding of responsive digital design principles and experience delivering complex design systems for web and native applications

  • Experience in designing user interfaces for web and mobile applications with an understanding of new technologies and best practices in website navigation, CMS, browsers, mobile patterns, and user experience

  • Detail orientations with the ability to manage numerous projects simultaneously to completion and follow-through to resolve any outstanding issues

  • Highly motivated to communicate and collaborate effectively across teams, including account and development 

  • Interest or experience in social purpose or non-profit work a plus
